THE TWO CONCEPTS
1. Santiago Calatrava：Evoking the sense of movement through
the building form
Calatrava ‘s building always include
many movement lines. The sense of movement was embodied by the curve and
straight line of his building. I link this concept with my modle. Therefore, I’d
like to use some special items that were built by straight line to create the
sense of movement. And I just change the degree and position of each item to
achieve the movement.
2. Friedensreich Hudertwasser：The line between the building and landscape
melds: the building as an extension of the landscape rather than as an addition
to it
All of his works are very playful, and the use of color is very unique. And he thinks
the landscape and the environment surrounded the building still very important.
So, I build a part of the light rail stop to lead people walk from the campus
to the light rail stop. Moreover, if this stop don’t have this part, just the
light rail stop will give us a feeling that is only a sculpture and the stop
cannot have the relationship with the environment. Which means I’d like to use
these to show the landscape still very important and to reflect this concept.
THEME
Multiculturalism
I’d like to use
multiculturalism to be my theme. This stop provide interest spaces for the
different types of people. And the shape of the light rail stop gives us the
feeling of the tolerable and comprehensive. Let all the people feel comfortable and welcoming to the stop, no matter what race or creed.

IMAGE CAPTURES AND THE ARCHITECTURE
The plan view of the stop show the connection between the stop and landscape. and the texture very strong that is easy to present that straight line is godless and immoral.
For safety, I build a underpass for the cars. The ground floor only for the light rail and pedestrians.
I decided to apply the light and dark texture into the bottom of entrance. The pattern of texture guide the people to the right way.
